Communology‘s mte Network Performance test module is the first commercially available test tool world-wide for determining different standard Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for Java Micro Editon (ME) implementations on mobile devices.

Using these KPI give handset manufacturers, network operators and application developers a good indication whether the Java ME implementation will have a fast and sufficient network performance for developing network-aware applications and services. The module enables to compute statistics on access times, data transfer speeds, and success rates.
