The S-UBG group, Aachen, is the leading provider of private equity and venture capital in the region Aachen, Krefeld and Mönchengladbach since 1988. KfW Bankengruppe
KfW and the ERP Special Fund (ERP-SF) - represented by the Federal Ministry for Economics and Technology - provide support for innovative technology enterprises. For this purpose KfW enters into participations for the financing of technology companies within the framework of the ERP Start-up Fund established by the ERP-SF. It will enter into the participations entireley in its own name and solely for the account of KfW.
An essential condition for participation is that an additional equity investor (lead investor) takes participations in the technology enterprise worth at least the same amount as those of KfW. On the basis of a cooperation agreement the participation of KfW is being managed jointly by the management company of the lead investor - if applicable also by the lead investor itself. KfW participates up to the same amount and at economically identical conditions ("pari passu") as the lead investor. (link)
